Adults formerly involved in foster care too often transition into a life of independence ill-equipped and unprepared to navigate the world around them. Countless foster care alumni from across America between 18 and 21 years of age, exit foster care without a supportive network of family or friends.
When alumni face unforeseen challenges of adulthood, we'll be there, when alumni question their own worth or potential, we'll there, and where there's alumni in search of additional support and guidance, we'll be there. Because it's about lending a hand-up not a hand-out! To learn more on how you can be there for those formerly involved in foster care, click the learn more button.

We love foster youth and alumni and are excited to witness the transformational impact that collective generosity will have in their lives. Your financial contribution to this work is crucial in more ways than one.
Thank you for your generosity and support of Generous Heart.
We are adamant on having the ability to design and execute some of the most impactful and common-sense programming along with a network of supportive resources for those youth formerly involved in foster care. Your ongoing support of our current and planned efforts, helps to ensure there is continued investment in the lives of those affected by the child welfare system, a system that is too often overwhelmed and ill-equipped to support the needs of transition-age youth and foster care alumni.
